Georgia Tech alumni and the campus community have several notable events and initiatives to look forward to this fall season.
The Georgia Tech Alumni Association has announced Homecoming 2026, scheduled for October 22–24. The weekend promises a packed schedule of campus activities designed to reconnect Yellow Jackets with their alma mater. Highlights include a self-guided tour featuring iconic Tech artifacts — the Mickey Mouse Clock, the Koan Sculpture, and the Centennial Summer Exhibit. Alumni can also attend the Buzz Bash reunion celebration, watch the Ramblin’ Wreck Parade, and immerse themselves in campus spirit. Accommodations are available at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, with early reservations encouraged. The Alumni Association is also accepting sponsors for Homecoming programs, and supporters can contribute to the Roll Call campaign to fund student scholarships and campus programs. In a separate outreach, Georgia Tech’s Office of Gift Planning is marking National Make-A-Will Month this August. The institute is offering alumni and supporters free access to Giving Docs, a secure online tool for creating or updating a will in minutes. Baylor Bassett, JD, Assistant Vice President for Gift Planning, encouraged the Yellow Jacket community to take this opportunity to protect loved ones and, for those who choose, to consider including Georgia Tech in their legacy plans — helping fund future innovations and research at the Institute for generations to come.
