Georgia Tech football fans have two big items on the calendar as the 2026 season ramps up.
Georgia Tech Athletics has confirmed final details for First Saturday on the Flats Powered by Georgia Power, the program’s annual Fan Day event, set for Saturday, August 8, at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field. The event is free and open to all fans, running from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Head coach Brent Key and the 2026 Yellow Jackets will sign autographs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. — Coach Key in the brand-new Fanning Center, and student-athletes in the East Club Lounge. Autographs are limited to one item per fan. Free parking is available in multiple campus lots starting at 7 a.m., including Peters Parking Deck (E52), Klaus Parking Deck (E40), McCamish Pavilion (E65), and Family Housing (ER66). Fans will also have the chance to tour the new Wreck Deck, a premium indoor/outdoor viewing experience at Bobby Dodd Stadium; tours begin at 12:45 p.m. and require an advance RSVP.
Looking further ahead, the Yellow Jackets’ Homecoming weekend (October 22–24) will feature a football game against Boston College. The game weekend will include the Helluva Block Party tailgate and a chance for fans and returning alumni to sing the Fight Song at the big game. The Georgia Tech Alumni Association is coordinating the full Homecoming experience for the Yellow Jacket community.
