Georgia Tech earned a five-star rating from Money magazine, making it one of only 17 public schools in the country — and the only institution in Georgia — to receive the designation. The publication evaluated more than 700 four-year colleges on 25 metrics and declared, “Georgia Tech gets results.” The recognition adds to a growing list of national rankings for the Institute.
On campus, a beloved landmark has reopened: Brittain Dining Hall welcomed students back this semester after renovations that began in 2024. The nearly 100-year-old building has been refreshed in time for the new academic year, marking a significant milestone for campus life at Tech.
The Georgia Tech Alumni Association is gearing up for Homecoming 2026 with a new “Tech Traditions & Artifacts” self-guided tour across central campus, available October 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The tour highlights rare artifacts — including 1946 Navy correspondence about the legendary George P. Burdell and the original 1930s Naval Armory Gates — paired with immersive audio at stops around campus.
On the professional development front, Dean Anuj Mehrotra will host Jaime Gilinski, CEO of Grupo Nutresa and Georgia Tech IE ’78, for a Tech Talks Business session.
