Jackets Roundup for Sunday, October 11, 2026
It was a busy Sunday around Georgia Tech athletics — one result on the court and plenty of conversation in the fan community. Here’s everything you need to know from October 11, 2026.
On the Court
Georgia Tech volleyball battled Miami all the way to the wire before coming up just short in a five-set thriller on Sunday. Marathon matches like this one are never easy to swallow, but pushing a conference opponent the full distance says plenty about this group’s fight. Around the Fan Community
Basketball season chatter is heating up, with fans trading thoughts on who should get the nod when the lineup card gets filled out. Join the debate in Starting 5.
If you like your Georgia Tech talk with a side of gold and white aesthetics, the uniform crowd has a home. Check out Ramble’s uniform lounge for the latest on looks, combos, and what fans want to see the Jackets wear next.
On the football side, patience is wearing thin for some in the fan base, and the question on a lot of minds is a blunt one. The discussion is live in When will GT win another football game?.
That frustration has also turned toward the sideline. Fans are weighing in with their votes and their reasoning in the poll thread Should Key Go? (Poll).
Not every thread is about wins and losses. One fan took a step back to share a more reflective take on the state of things in I’m SAD for us (not team related).
Coaching-box observations are getting attention too, after fans noticed a change in where Georgia Tech’s staff was stationed against Duke. The details are being hashed out in Interesting to see Godsey was up in the booth against Duke.
And for the Xs-and-Os crowd, there’s a deeper conversation happening about decision-making and situational awareness on the field over in Football IQ.
