Georgia Tech Athletics kicked off the 2026 football season preparations with a major announcement: 100 improvements to the fan experience at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field. The changes were developed in partnership with the Institute’s H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE), based on data analysis and operational research conducted throughout the 2025 season.
The improvements span eight categories: getting to campus, the Helluva Block Party pregame experience, stadium entry, concessions and merchandise, premium experiences, in-game atmosphere, fan experience opportunities, and additional enhancements. The ISyE partnership reflects Georgia Tech’s unique ability to apply its own academic expertise to real-world operations — in this case, improving the experience of tens of thousands of fans on game day.
One of the most anticipated changes is the return of the Helluva Block Party Driven by Hyundai to its traditional home on the north end of Bobby Dodd Stadium. The popular pregame fan experience had been held on North Avenue for the past three seasons to accommodate construction of the Thomas A. Fanning Student-Athlete Performance Center. For 2026, Yellow Jacket Alley will run from the intersection of Techwood Drive and Fourth Street down to Bobby Dodd Way, with activations on Callaway Plaza, Bobby Dodd Way, and the top level of Peters Parking Deck. Pregame concerts return to Callaway Plaza, and new tailgate packages are available through RevelXP.
