Rahul Saxena Named Interim Chief Commercialization Officer

Georgia Tech has named Rahul Saxena interim chief commercialization officer and vice president for Commercialization, effective Nov. 1, 2026. He will lead the Institute’s Office of Commercialization while Raghupathy “Siva” Sivakumar serves as interim executive vice president for Research. Saxena is currently executive director of CREATE-X and brings more than two decades of experience across entrepreneurship, venture capital, technology development, and research. Under CREATE-X, more than 800 startups have launched over the past five years, and more than 6,000 students engaged with its programs in FY26 alone. FORGE AI Pre-Summit Sessions Continue

The FORGE AI Summit runs Nov. 16-18, and pre-summit education sessions are open to the Georgia Tech community through Nov. 13. One session, What is M365 Copilot, offered a foundational overview of Copilot’s capabilities and what is currently available in M365 Copilot, for newcomers and veterans alike. Next up is the Copilot Scenario Workshop, today (Tuesday, Nov. 3) from 2 to 3 p.m. This practical session covers how to phrase questions and instructions across Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams to get better results from Copilot.
