The Parker H. Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience (IBB) is kicking off Postdoc Appreciation Week with a special thank-you initiative for the postdoctoral scholars who drive innovation across our campus. On Monday, September 21st, postdocs are invited to the IBB front desk in the Petit Biotechnology Building for complimentary coffee, exclusive swag, and genuine appreciation for their contributions to our research community.
This initiative recognizes the vital role that postdoctoral researchers play in advancing biomedical engineering and bioscience. From groundbreaking discoveries to mentoring the next generation of scientists, our postdocs are essential to Georgia Tech’s mission of research excellence. Soft Matter Seminar Brings Clemson Research to Tech
The School of Physics is pleased to host Professor Kimberly Weirich from Clemson University for a special soft matter seminar on Tuesday, October 20th at 3:30 PM. Hosted by Dr. Itamar Kolvin, this seminar will bring cutting-edge research in soft matter physics to our campus, offering an excellent opportunity for faculty, postdocs, and graduate students to engage with emerging research across the discipline.
The seminar will take place in Howey N201/N202 and promises to be an intellectually stimulating conversation at the intersection of physics and materials science.
