He’s one of Georgia Tech’s most illustrious graduates, earning his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Institute. Since then, Burdell has made many achievements and has been quite a hero. Burdell flew a B-17 Bomber with the Airforce in England in WWII and has been documented as serving in just about every war since then. He has also served on the board of directors of MAD magazine, received a varsity letter in basketball at Tech, traveled the world, and even lead online polls for the ‘Person of the Year’ by Time Magazine.
